GENERAL QUESTIONS
What is a Zine?
A Zine is a collection of fanmade works, featuring the work of different contributors who use different forms of media.
Who will you feature?
Moonlight Sonata will feature only artists and writers, meaning both fanart and fanfiction.
What is the theme of Monlight Sonata?
Moonlight Sonata will feature an array of Genshin Impact Characters with the setting of a Masquerade Ball-- this means fancy clothing, masks, and a night of music and dancing.
Is this Zine SFW or NSFW?
Moonlight Sonata is a SFW, PG-13 Zine. This means there will be no explicit sexual content, heavy gore or graphic depictions of violence.
Is this Zine Digital/Physical and For Profit/For Charity/Free?
Moonlight Sonata will be a completely digital Zine for Charity, meaning that digital copies (PDFs) will be sold online and all profits will go to Charity.
Will ships be allowed?
We ask for all relationships to be depicted platonically, unless they are canonical.
Are you looking for Mods?
Yes! We are looking for people who can help in any of the following areas: Social Media Management, Art Moderation, Editors/Betas for Writing, Graphic Design and Finance.
Note: Moderators can take on multiple roles, hence why we are listing all positions even if they have been filled.
Are you looking for interns?
Yes! We will be accepting interns as well as beta readers!

Contributor Information
How many contributors will there be?
We are aiming to have 30-35 contributors, and the ratio between artist and writer will be split depending on the interest check results. Also depending on the results, we may have Merch contributors as well.
(Note: This number does not include guest contributors)
Will contributors be compensated?
As this is a For-Charity Zine, all profit will go towards Charity, however the contributors will all receive the Zine in full along with any merch we may produce.
Are contributors allowed to partner up?
Yes! There will be an option for Writers and Artists to pair up together in the application.
Can you apply for multiple positions?
Yes, however you will only be allocated one.
How will characters be allocated?
We will ask for preference on the applications and we will try to accommodate best we can. Please do not put all 5 star characters (ie; Diluc, Zhongli & Xiao), because the probability of being allocated one of them is low.
What do I need for my Application?
Both Writers and Artists will be expected to have three examples of their work (writers over 300 words per example), preferably set out in a way that is easy to read (eg: Google Drive folder).

Writers: Prose length will be between 1k-2k words.
(Word limit does not apply to poets)
Artists: Canvas size is standard letter.
Contributors will be expected to produce one piece of either Art or Prose for the character they are assigned. If they wish to do so they can request additional work, although it is not mandatory.
